IPL stands for Intense Pulse Light
IPL is a technology used to perform various skin treatments including hair removal, photorejuvenation (e.g. the treatment of skin pigmentation, sun damage, and thread veins) as well as to alleviate dermatologic diseases such as acne.
IPL shares some similarities with laser treatments, in that they both use light to heat and destroy their targets. But unlike lasers that use a single wavelength (color) of light which typically matches only one chromophore, and hence only one condition, IPL uses a broad spectrum that when used with filters, allows it to be used against several conditions.
Nue Laser Spa uses Nubody Equipment which is a Health Canada approved DermaLase IPL Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation machine. It can help you provide effective, and nearly pain-free treatments.

During the consultation we will collect pertinent medical history, address client concerns, and give the client information on pre-care, post-care, treatment protocols, contraindications, risks, cosmetic downtime involved with treatments, and cost of treatments. Photographs may be taken at this time, with the consent of the client. Consultations should typically be limited to 20 minutes. Also for new clients please expect a patch test.
